    Xylocaine with Adrenaline as local anaesthetic

   injecting local anaesthetic . wait for 5 minutes for the action of the
   anaesthetic to take place before starting incision.

    making incision to the cyst in the lower lip. Fingers are held firmly to the lip
    to reduce blood supply to the incision area , hence reducing blood loss and provide
    clean field for surgery.

    removing the blocked minor glands up to level of the muscles.

    suture with absorbable thread , followed by
    putting hydrogen peroxide as disinfectant and haemostatic agent


    sampling in formalin bottle



    this sample will be sent to pathology department for biopsy
