the two places that I stayed in Langkawi were located a walking distance away
    from Langkawi Underwater World in Pantai Cenang , Langkawi

    the first day in Langkawi , me and my hiking mates stayed at Nor Villa  ,
    a homestay a walking distance away to the left side of Underwaterworld Langkawi.
    the villa is a bit hidden from passer-by's sight  , as the small shops in front of it
    blocks the view to the actual size of the villa.
   
    a decent-sized homestay , can easily fit 10-15 pax



  

    the 3rd day in Langkawi , I had to look for room for myself to stay in Pantai Cenang
    as most of my hiking mates only planned to stay in Langkawi for 2 days.

    RM18 one-way ticket from Kuala Perlis to Langkawi Island.
    car parking at Kuala Perlis Jetty costs around RM10-15 per day




    our rental van tire puntured upon picking us up at Kuah Jetty

    mobile mechanic with his van came to fix our van


    Mantis Shrimp @ Udang Lipan  , costs RM28 per 100g here in Pantai Cenang.
    super expensive.
    back home in Sungai Petani we'll get this RM5 sekati ( 600g )

    big and comfortable with basic amenities and air conditioned room.
    can easily fit 10-15 packs.

    but our main intention of visiting Langkawi this time is not because of the beach ,
    but to climb the moutain there.

    Dinner at Haji Ramli restaurant.
    the food is fairly OK , not that great , ranging from Malay to Thai meals.
    fried rice ranging from RM6-9 .
   
    the famous Orkid Ria Chinese restaurant



    everything is expensive in Cenang.
    even this this mud crab @ ketam nipah costs RM 13 per 100g ,
    which is 3-4 times more expensive than in my hometown Sungai Petani








    Cenang beach also offers a lot of Arabian  / Turkish delicacies





    cheapest lobster meal i could find was this cheese baked lobster with rice
    costs RM90 per meal.
    I was born in an average family , and never had 'rich' food like this before.
    had this just for the sake of trying for the first time.
