we planned to have Karim Biriyani at Chandni Chowk , Old Delhi.
so we stopped at Delhi Junction Railway Station instead because it's nearer.

it too early , so biriyani has not been prepared yet untill 12.30pm

we had Naan and mutton Nahari and Mutton Paya for breakfast.
    it was very very delicious!

    Naan

    Mutton Nahari.
the mutton Paya is equivalent to this , but instead of mutton meat ,
bones are used. something like ' Gear Box ' in Malaysia.
    Naan costs rs6 ( RM0.30 ) per piece ,
    and Nahari costs Rs 125 ( RM6 ) , served in a small bowl.

New Delhi Railway Station ( NDLS )

Metro to the airport is located in a different building
    from the NDLS railway station.
when travelling , mention ' Metro to airport ' to people / auto rickshaw ,
and they'll directly bring you there.

ticket from New Delhi Metro Station to Airport costs Rs150 one-way

    the token as ticket

the metro station is very airport-friendly.
even flight schedule is displayed at the station.

the Metro to Delhi airport is the Yellow Line.
the route goes directly to Terminal 3 New Delhi Airport ,
something like ERL that goes directly from KL Sentral to KLIA.
if we want to go to Terminal 1D ( domestic terminal ) , stop at
Aero City station ( a station earlier than Airport station )
and take cab / shuttle from there.

    airport-friendly.
racks to put luggage in the metro

    very spacious and comfortable.
took around 15 -20 minutes to reach Delhi Airport from NDLS

at T3 , the Grid Bar is giving buffet for lunch.
the meals are not as good as in Kingfisher Sports Lounge

but i don't mind as long as its free.

    T3 Terminal

    big prayer room

electric car to carry passengers to the departure gates.
the airport is so big , signposts from the entrance to the gates are
noted by walking time period instead of only showing directions.
it took 15 minutes walk from entrance to my departure gate.
